With a heavy heart, we share the sad news that Sister Miriam Erb, CSA, vice president of Mission & Ministry at the St. Vincent Charity Health & Healing Hub, passed into the loving arms of the Lord on December 27. She entered the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine on August 30, 1957, and professed final vows on August 22, 1965. For nearly 70 years, she embodied the charism of her religious community and was a radiant example of God’s loving spirit. A Whole Community, Inc. in Wayne County near Canton has partnerships with local farms that allow the non-profit to acquire “seconds” produce at reduced costs for its Community Food Project. The Sisters of Charity Foundation of Canton has supported the food project in recent years. The program provides free, fresh produce to underserved individuals and families.…

The new $22 million Women Religious Archives Collaborative (WRAC) Heritage Center in Cleveland broke ground on July 22. Once completed in spring 2027, it will be one of four collaborative repositories in the country that will hold the archives of Catholic sisters.
