Light of Hearts Villa has released its 2025 impact report, which details the ministry's financials, record-breaking fundraising success, community outreach services, accomplishments and more. The report provides a statement of financial position and provides a breakdown of the $871,416 fundraising total in 2025.

Following is a message from Executive Director Breanne Cavileer that appears in the impact report.

Rooted in Mission, Growing with Intention

Dear Friends,

In 2025, Light of Hearts Villa made a conscious choice to grow with intention.

Rather than simply continuing traditions for the sake of tradition, we stepped back and asked ourselves meaningful questions about sustainability, stewardship and long-term impact. We paused our annual gala and instead focused on cultivating deeper, more personal connections through intentional outreach events, donor engagement gatherings and opportunities to welcome new families into our community.

This year, growth looked different. It looked like expanding transparency by sharing this 2025 Impact Report with our entire mailing list. It looked like strengthening our admissions efforts and welcoming new residents home. It looked like investing in strategic planning with guidance from Fox Consulting to thoughtfully assess our future. It looked like continued facility improvements that enhance the daily experience of those who call the Villa home.

Behind every decision was one guiding principle: preserving and strengthening our mission.

We remain deeply aware of the financial realities facing senior living communities, including the ongoing Medicaid shortfall. Yet even amid challenges, we continue to stand firmly in our promise that no resident will be asked to leave due to financial hardship, a commitment made possible by the faithful support of our donors and the strength of the Sister Helen T. Scasny, SC Benevolent Fund.

The work of 2025 may not have always been flashy, but it was foundational. It was thoughtful. It was strategic. And it positions us beautifully for the chapters ahead.

We trust that God continues to lead this ministry forward just as He has from the very beginning, and we are grateful to walk this journey alongside you. Thank you for believing in this mission, for supporting our residents and for helping us grow with intention.
