Frequently Asked Questions

A.The Sisters of Charity Health System is a family of ministries rooted in the legacy of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine . We are committed to addressing the unmet needs of individuals, families and communities. In 2015, we provided $60.6 million in community benefit, including $45.6 million in unpaid costs of patient care.

Today our ministries are facing a decline in government support, decreased insurance reimbursement and fierce competition for foundation and corporate dollars. Your philanthropic gifts enable us to continue to extend the healing ministry of Jesus to all of God’s people.

Please join us in our healing mission. Your donations will help to sustain and grow these ministries which are essential to the wellbeing of many individuals and families in our communities.
