The Early Childhood Resource Center (ECRC) is at the forefront of an innovative, collaborative effort to strengthen Akron’s early learning landscape. A Whole Community, Inc. in Wayne County near Canton has partnerships with local farms that allow the non-profit to acquire “seconds” produce at reduced costs for its Community Food Project. The new $22 million Women Religious Archives Collaborative (WRAC) Heritage Center in Cleveland broke ground on July 22. Once completed in spring 2027, it will be one of four collaborative repositories in the country that will hold the archives of Catholic sisters.
