Students collect 4,600 books for Early Childhood Resource Center

Students at Hoover, GlenOak, and Perry high schools near Canton, Ohio, donated more than 4,600 books to the Early Childhood Resource Center.

The students, who delivered the 84 boxes of books earlier in March, are part of their school’s Educators Rising group, which is a student organization for those interested in a career in teaching.

This is the sixth year the groups have donated books to the resource center, which helps preschoolers and their parents get ready for kindergarten. Last year, the combined group donated more than 2,700 books.
