Healthy Learners names new community manager for its Healthy Learners Upstate program

Healthy Learners has named Aimee Clark as community manager for its Healthy Learners Upstate program, which currently covers students in Greenwood County. Healthy Learners is devoted to removing children’s health barriers to learning with love and compassion.

As community manager, Clark provides oversight and management of the Healthy Learners Upstate program, including coordinating day-to-day operations of the program. She is also responsible for increasing community engagement of Healthy Learners through improved public relations, increased mass health screening opportunities, and cultivating relationships with various stakeholders—including school districts, medical providers, community partners and funders, to enable the organization to serve more children throughout the Upstate region.

“I am thrilled to be a part of the Healthy Learners organization and look forward to engaging the community in achieving the important mission of giving all children the opportunity to be healthy and able to reach their full potential,” said Clark.

Clark has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Presbyterian College. For the past 22 years, she has worked in a variety of capacities, most recently as program director at Generations Group Home for at-risk adolescent males. She is a recent graduate of Leadership Greenwood, a member of the Greenwood Women’s Club, serves on the board of Here 4 A Reason, and is an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Greenwood. She is a native of Greenwood.
