Beginning July 1, St. John Medical Center will add the advanced, comprehensive cardiovascular care of the University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute to its current offering of state-of-the-art cardiovascular services.

The Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute offers many of the country’s leading-edge technologies to give patients the very latest in cardiovascular care combined with a unique collaboration among highly trained cardiovascular physicians, surgeons, nurses and technicians. The team works together to deliver the most advanced, efficient and cost-effective cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment services available. The institute is also involved in heart and vascular research and advanced study with strong funding from the National Institutes of Health. 

The Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute encompasses 11 centers of excellence for heart and vascular treatment. Each of the 11 centers provides cutting-edge resources, a highly trained staff and essential expertise to help patients benefit from the latest medical techniques for improved patient outcomes.

With the addition of the Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute, St. John Medical Center patients will have convenient access to nationally and internationally recognized cardiovascular services.

St. John Medical Center is a 50/50 joint venture of the Sisters of Charity Health System and University Hospitals.
