ECRC Community Chronicle: Focusing on fathers

The Early Childhood Resource Center (ECRC) has a number of programs and services to ensure fathers have the skills and knowledge they need to be active parents. The ECRC approaches this work with two goals: Working for systems change, to ensure fathers are afforded the opportunity to be a meaningful part of their children’s lives and working directly with fathers, to help them develop the skills they need to be great dads. Children's Trust of South Carolina highlights South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families fatherhood program

The South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families is a partner of the Children's Trust of South Carolina, which works with Fact Forward to develop programs and services that support pregnant women and young parents ages 15 to 24 across South Carolina. The center joined the partnership to address the fatherhood piece of the equation, and A Father’s Place is the local organization implementing this program in several South Carolina Counties. Children’s Trust recently spoke with staff members and participating fathers about the impact of the program on their lives.[More]

Regina Health Center renovation project enhances God-centered, patient-focused care

The $2.5 million renovation project at Regina Health Center to update and beautify all resident rooms and resident gathering spaces in the nursing home portion of the facility is more than halfway complete and is expected to be finished by the middle of 2020.
