Healthy Learners expands Songwriters in the Round fundraising event to two nights and two locations
Healthy Learners is expanding its annual Songwriters in the Round fundraiser to include an event in Georgetown, South Carolina, on September 11 and a second event in Columbia on October 1. At this popular fundraiser, which is designed in the spirit of Nashville and the famous Bluebird Cafe, attendees can hear songwriters share the songs they’ve written for many of the stars of country music and the stories behind the songs.
Award-winning artists Phillip Lammonds, Grammy-winner Aaron Raitiere, Emily Brooke, Michael Farren, Lauren Jenkins and Matt Warren will perform songs they have written for Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, Lady Gaga, Reba McIntire, Leann Rimes, Faith Hill, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton and more. Participants will also enjoy cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres.
Funds raised at both events will support efforts to work collaboratively with communities, schools, healthcare providers and families in Georgetown and the Midlands to remove health barriers to learning through screening, referral and access to medical services.
