Sisters of Charity Foundation sponsoring March 29 event exploring issues affecting Catholic sisters
The Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland is sponsoring a day of retreat and reflection on Sunday, March 29, to celebrate Catholic Sisters Week (formerly National Catholic Sisters Week). Catholic Sisters Week shines a light on the spirituality, mission and community building of women religious.
The event, Discipleship in a Time of Transition, will explore congregational life in transition. Attendees can hear reflections from notable community members and acknowledge shared experience in discipleship. It happens March 29 from 1-4 p.m. at the Jesuit Retreat Center (5629 State Road, Cleveland).
The event is free but requires an RSVP because space is limited. Light refreshments will be provided. Discipleship in a Time of Transition is sponsored by the Conference of Religious Leadership (CORL), Coalition with Young Adults (CYA) and the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland.
