Online giving event May 7 to benefit Healthy Learners and other South Carolina nonprofits
The Central Carolina Community Foundation is presenting its sixth annual regional day of giving in the Midlands of South Carolina Tuesday, May 7 with its daylong giving challenge known as Midlands Gives. Healthy Learners, a ministry of the Sisters of Charity Health System, is participating.
Midlands Gives is an online giving event that brings the region together as one community, raising money and awareness for local nonprofits in 11 Midlands counties. Since its inception in 2014, the event has raised more than $7.2 million for local nonprofits. In 2018, more than 14,000 gifts totaling more than $1.7 million were given to benefit 370 local nonprofits.
Donations to participating nonprofits May 7 will be magnified with bonus funds from generous sponsors. Visit MidlandsGives.org Tuesday from 6:00:01 a.m. until 11:59:59 p.m. to donate. You can donate to Healthy Learners by clicking here.
Donations can be made to multiple organizations with a minimum contribution of $20.
