Foundation's Innovation Fellow talks about new approach to college mentoring

College and career coach Bill Leamon talks through his innovative approach to mentoring and the ultimate goal of seeing all Cleveland students succeed in this new video. His project is supported through The Innovation Mission, a fellowship from theSisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland.

The Innovation Mission is teaching five local experts the power of innovative thinking—especially when it comes to fighting poverty. As the fellows reach the end of their time in the fellowship, they have been discussing their work and how far they’ve come over the past 18 months in their work to break the cycle of poverty in Cleveland.

Leamon is a committed college and career coach, an experienced professor and program director, and a successful speaker and social entrepreneur. Helping disadvantaged students successfully transition from high school to college, and from college to career, is both his passion and mission. Leamon is founder of CollegetoCareer.org, a social enterprise that provides college preparation, college mentoring, and career coaching to students in Cleveland.

The Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland is a ministry of the Sisters of Charity Health System.
