Health Insurance Marketplace: Key Dates

The Health Insurance Marketplace helps people who need health coverage to find it. There are three ways for you to learn more and get covered. You can enroll online (HealthCare.gov), over the phone (800.318.2596) or with in-person assistance (localhelp.healthcare.gov). You’ll have the opportunity to compare private plans side-by-side and choose the one that fits your family and budget. 

Here are the key deadlines you should know if you want to enroll: 

November 1, 2015: 

2016 open enrollment begins

january 31, 2016: 

2016 open enrollment ends

Children's Trust of South Carolina highlights South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families fatherhood program

The South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families is a partner of the Children's Trust of South Carolina, which works with Fact Forward to develop programs and services that support pregnant women and young parents ages 15 to 24 across South Carolina. The center joined the partnership to address the fatherhood piece of the equation, and A Father’s Place is the local organization implementing this program in several South Carolina Counties. Regina Health Center renovation project enhances God-centered, patient-focused care

The $2.5 million renovation project at Regina Health Center to update and beautify all resident rooms and resident gathering spaces in the nursing home portion of the facility is more than halfway complete and is expected to be finished by the middle of 2020. Mercy Medical Center employee honored with Ohio Society for Health Care Facilities Management's Eagle Award

The Ohio Society for Health Care Facilities Management (OSHFM) named Nick Bagnolo, administrative director of support services at Mercy Medical Center and vice president of construction & facilities for the Sisters of Charity Health System (SCHS), as a 2019 Eagle Award recipient. This award recognizes the facility manager who has demonstrated outstanding performance, leadership and made significant contributions in energy efficiency, health care engineering or facilities management. Nick is one of just two individuals in Ohio to receive the OSHFM 2019 Eagle Award.[More]
