Annual #weGiveCatholic online crowdfunding event happens November 28

It’s almost time for #weGiveCatholic 2023, the annual online day of Catholic giving. The 24-hour event happens November 28, which is also Giving Tuesday, a national day of giving for nonprofits.

Several ministries of the Sisters of Charity Health System are participating in the annual online day of Catholic giving in Northeast Ohio, including Joseph & Mary's Home, Light of Hearts Villa and Regina Health Center. You can also donate to the health system's South Carolina ministries on Giving Tuesday, including Healthy Learners and the South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families.

You can help by sharing the news and/or making a gift. Donating is a seamless experience you can do from your computer or mobile device any time until 11:59 p.m. on November 28. Secure, tax-deductible donations will be accepted on the website weGiveCatholic.org.

By designating Joseph & Mary's Home, Light of Hearts Villa and/or Regina Health Center, any gifts you contribute will benefit these ministries directly and place them in the running to receive cash prizes and secure matching gifts, increasing the impact of your donation.

Bishop Edward Malesic once again encourages participation in #weGiveCatholic. “Let’s come together on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 28, to raise awareness and inspire our Catholic community to generosity in support of Catholic parishes, Catholic schools, Catholic Charities sites/programs, and Catholic nonprofits in our region,” he said.

#weGiveCatholic is presented by the Catholic Community Foundation, which fosters faith-based stewardship in the community for the spiritual, educational and charitable needs of all.

Joseph & Mary's Home, Light of Hearts Villa and Regina Health Center are ministries of the Sisters of Charity Health System.
