The Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland's Ministry Leadership Program serves young adult campus ministers and faith formation staff at sister-led, sister-founded schools and colleges throughout Northeast Ohio. Michalena Mezzopera, a theology teacher at Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School in Chardon, Ohio, is a participant in the Ministry Leadership Program and recently reflected on her experience in the program to date.[More]

Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina announces 2019 Unsung Hero Award recipients for kinship care

As part of its kinship care initiative, the Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina recently awarded it 2019 Unsung Hero Award to three of South Carolina’s kinship caregivers who have provided outstanding care to children for more than a year. “The recipients of this year’s Unsung Hero Award couldn’t be more deserving. As part of the launch of an online Naloxone Toolkit from the Northeast Ohio Hospital Opioid Consortium, Ted Parran, M.D., co-associate medical director of Rosary Hall at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center, participated in a discussion about naloxone as a life-saving, anti-overdose drug on an episode of ideastream’s® The Sound of Ideas.
