Mercy Medical Center honors local EMS

Mercy Medical Center recently hosted its annual appreciation event for local emergency medical squads (EMS). Mercy sponsors this event to recognize EMS personnel for their lifesaving efforts throughout the year. As part of the evening’s activities, Mercy Emergency Chest Pain Center presented its STEMI (St Elevation Myocardial Infarction) Cup award to Green Fire Department for achieving the best “door to balloon” angioplasty time for the first half of 2019.[More]

Ending homelessness is admittedly complicated. There are many partners at the table, and all are focused on finding long-term and permanent housing for individuals and families. Catholic Community Connection summer fellow reflects on experience working at Regina Health Center

Jillian Doherty, a senior from John Carroll University, has been spending her summer interning at Regina Health Center as part of the 2019 Catholic Community Connection Summer Fellows Program. The program is a 10-week internship that offers students from Catholic colleges real-world, paid work experience at Catholic ministries throughout Northeast Ohio.[More]
