Jennifer Michelle Stranger, Mercy Medical Center marketing representative, earned the “2017 Achievements in Excellence Award” from the National Sales & Marketing Executives (NSME) Akron/Canton chapter at an awards dinner February 28 in Akron.

“Jennifer has the unique ability to attract others through her kind-heartedness and strong faith, resulting in great relationships wherever she goes,” said Kim Zink, director of physician support services at Mercy. “She is a visionary and works diligently promoting the growth and success of our hospital.”

She received the recognition during NSME’s annual Accent on Excellence event, which honors the region’s best sales and marketing professionals.

“Jennifer is one of the most service-minded individuals I know,” said Ronald Bensinger, director of Mercy's business development department. “She has a genuine heart for underserved people, and finds ways to appropriately engage the resources of Mercy Medical Center to help.”

Stranger is actively involved in helping local social service organizations, such as The Salvation Army of Canton and Habitat for Humanity ReStore, among others.

Mercy Medical Center is a ministry of the Sisters of Charity Health System.
