Cleveland Leadership Center selects health system employees for leadership programs

The Cleveland Leadership Center has selected Shannon Fogarty Jerse, deputy general counsel for the Sisters of Charity Health System and general counsel to St. Vincent Charity Medical Center, to participate in the Leadership Cleveland class of 2016. The center also selected Rebecca Gallant, director of communications for the health system, to participate in the Cleveland Bridge Builders class of 2016.

Leadership Cleveland is an intensive 10-month program that empowers recognized, senior-level leaders with additional knowledge, skills and relationships to advance and deepen their community impact. It engages participants in opportunities to address key community issues through collaborative civic leadership while developing a broader and more diverse set of relationships among peers. Class members are selected through a competitive selective application process.

Cleveland Bridge Builders prepares mid-career professionals of all ages for meaningful, fulfilling and impactful engagement in the community. The 10-month program provides a unique environment that fosters teamwork, growth and learning to create a transformative experience that promotes and supports participants for a greater role in the community. Through experiential collaboration, hands-on experiences and interactive civic education, participants hone their leadership skills, engage in self-discovery and build bonds with classmates and the extended Cleveland Leadership Center network.
