Mercy Service League raises $200,000 for Mercy Dental Endowment Fund

At its recent annual membership banquet, Mercy Service League presented $200,000 in proceeds from the last year’s Harvest Ball to Tom Cecconi, president & CEO of Mercy Medical Center; Joe Carpenter, DDS; and Debbie Carpenter.

The 2014 edition of Harvest Ball, which is Mercy Service League’s major fundraiser, benefitted Mercy Dental Services General Practice Residency Endowment Fund. Dr. Carpenter was the medical staff chair for the event.

“We deeply appreciate all that the Mercy Service League does to help us continue the mission of Mercy,” said Cecconi. “Each year, they diligently strive to help us take Mercy facilities and services to new heights, helping our patients, families and the greater community.”

The 2015 Harvest Ball, themed “Ignite the Night,” will be held Saturday, October 24. All proceeds will benefit the fifth floor orthopedic/observation unit, which is part of the first phase of the Mercy facility transformation.

Other upcoming Mercy Service League events include a celebrity fundraising party on Monday, August 10, and Souper Bowl III on Sunday, January 31, 2016.
