St. Vincent Charity Medical Center sponsors recovery 5k walk/run in Cleveland

As a part of St. Vincent Charity Medical Center’s celebration of Recovery Month in September, the hospital sponsored the 2013 Celebrating Recovery 5k Walk/Run September 14. Several hundred runners and walkers turned out for the inaugural event, including a number of elected officials. The event was presented by the Greater Cleveland Drug Court, Cleveland Department of Public Health and the Cleveland Municipal Court. The walk/run took participants on a 3.1 mile course through downtown Cleveland.

St. Vincent Charity Medical Center was well represented at the event, with many caregivers from Rosary Hall, the hospital’s substance abuse treatment center, participating. St. Vincent received a trophy for being one of the top teams represented.
