Canton, Ohio: On Tues., July 28, Mercy Medical Center will hold a blessing ceremony and open house for newly renovated Mercy Pain Management, located on the second floor of Mercy Surgery Center. The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. with an open house immediately following until 1 p.m. Mercy employees, physicians, volunteers and visitors are invited to attend.
According to David P. Gutlove, M.D., medical director of Mercy Pain Management, the new office improves the hospital’s ability to provide procedural pain management intervention.
He says, “Because the office and procedural areas are combined, Mercy is able to offer patients better medical management and seamless transition of care, making the assessment and treatment of a patient’s pain easier and more timely.”
Mercy Pain Management offers the latest therapies for individuals suffering from pain, providing comprehensive, multi-disciplinary evaluation and treatment of severe back pain, headaches, chronic joint pain, pain caused by malignancies, neuropathic pain and other pain-related conditions.
