South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families program uses $35,000 grant to help put fathers to work

The Man 2 Man fatherhood program, which is a program of the South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families, received a $35,000 grant from the Perdue Foundation that has been helping put fathers to work in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina. Healthy Learners names new executive director

The Healthy Learners Board of Trustees has selected Amy Splittgerber as the new executive director of the organization, which is a faith-based non-profit that connects school-aged children to health care providers to help remove barriers to school success. Splittgerber has more than 20 years of experience in public health, including serving as the founding director for two non-profit organizations focused on fostering sustainable, healthy communities. South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families to benefit from Men's Wearhouse National Suit Drive

The South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families is again partnering with Men's Wearhouse for the retailer's 12th annual National Suit Drive. The center is one of hundreds of nationwide nonprofit organizations to benefit from the campaign, which provides professional clothing for men re-entering the workforce. Throughout July, Men's Wearhouse will give customers 50 percent off the purchase of select items when they donate gently used suits or other professional attire during the campaign. [More]
