Sister Helen Therese Scasny, SC, and her community of bees raise money for Light of Hearts Villa fund

Sister Helen Therese Scasny, SC, began beekeeping in 2013 on the property of the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati home in Bedford, Ohio, not far from Light of Hearts of Villa. She gives profits from sales of honey to the Sr. Helen Scasny, SC, Benevolent Fund at Light of Hearts Villa, which assists residents who have outlived their financial recourses. [More]

South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families program uses $35,000 grant to help put fathers to work

The Man 2 Man fatherhood program, which is a program of the South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families, received a $35,000 grant from the Perdue Foundation that has been helping put fathers to work in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina. Joseph's Home and musical partner Access Music featured in The Plain Dealer

This summer, Joseph’s Home partnered with Access Music, a group of professional musicians from the Cleveland area, to provide classical music to residents and alumni. With a mission to provide musical offerings to communities whose access to music is most limited, Access Music shared pieces from Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and more.
