South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families releases 2018 impact report

In 2018, more than 3,200 participants enrolled in South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families fatherhood programs designed to help them be responsible dads. These same programs positively impacted the lives of 7,374 children in South Carolina. Mercy Medical Center is leading efforts to reduce sepsis mortality in Ohio

With a sepsis mortality rate of nine percent, Mercy Medical Center has demonstrated leadership in rapidly identifying and treating sepsis, an extreme response to infection in which the body releases an excess of chemicals into the blood stream, initiating an inflammatory process that can quickly reduce blood flow to vital organs.
