Healthy Learners Champions for Children Golf Tournament

Healthy Learners is celebrating the 16th year of the Champions for Children Golf Tournament in Memory of George Younginer Wednesday, October 21, at the Ft. Jackson Golf Club in Columbia, South Carolina. The golf tournament traditionally hosts more than 225 golfers and has grown to be one of the largest and most successful charity golf tournaments in the midlands.

This year’s premier sponsor is Colonial Life and the event is chaired by Rick Henry, WIS-TV sports director and Matt Younginer. Watch a PSA from WIS-TV promoting the event featuring Henry, Younginer, WIS-TV News Anchor Judi Gatson and former Healthy Learners student Ben Bullock.
 
Proceeds from the golf tournament enable Healthy Learners to help hundreds of children by providing them with health care services such as vision care, dental care and hearing evaluations.

Catholic Health World: Sisters of Charity foundation creates pipeline for philanthropic leadership
