Since 2000, The Early Childhood Resource Center (ECRC) has been dedicated to strengthening early childhood experiences by serving the Canton community’s families, educators and care providers. At the open house, the ECRC will show you how the center has worked to impact those lives.

Come learn what's in store for the future, see old and new friends, and put your personal mark of remembrance on the gratitude wall at the 15th anniversary open house.

The mission of the Early Childhood Resource Center is to promote the healthy development of young children by strengthening families, improving the quality of early learning experiences, increasing school and community readiness, and informing public policy. Early Childhood Resource Center opens new interactive texture garden

The Early Childhood Resource Center has installed a permanent new interactive texture garden and hosted a grand opening Thursday, May 11. The garden, which is the first installation of its kind in Stark County, is designed to provide children with a one-of-a-kind sensory experience. [More]

Health care and community leaders welcome new SCHS president & CEO at GCHI event

Cleveland and Northeast Ohio medical and community leaders recently gathered at the Global Center for Health Innovation to welcome Thomas J. Strauss as president & CEO of the Sisters of Charity Health System. More than 300 community and industry leaders gathered for the event, which featured a keynote from Tom, as well as remarks from Sister Judith Ann Karam CSA, congregational leader of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine; Robert Spangler M.D., board chair of the Sisters of Charity Health System; and Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish.
