Early Childhood Resource Center hosts “The Big, Big, Really Big Toy Box” event September 24

The Early Childhood Resource Center (ECRC) is hosting an afternoon of family fun Sunday, September 24, from 2 to 6 p.m. at The Big, Big, REALLY BIG Toy Box fundraiser, which transforms the Canton Cultural Center for the Arts into a giant toy box. Children (ages 1-8) and their families can see their favorite characters come to life (including Daniel Tiger and Elmo), and also participate in exciting family activities and interactive experiences.

Children ages 1-8 and their families can:

  • See their favorite characters come to life, including Daniel Tiger and Elmo
  • Listen to local musicians
  • Slide down a large inflatable
  • Try mini golf or throw a football
  • Make a craft to take home
  • Get your face painted
  • Ride the train
  • Make your own fun snacks
  • Make a large bubble
  • Enter the jungle of reading
  • Go fishing for prizes
  • Have a kid-filled, fun afternoon!

Tickets cost $5 per person and can be purchased at the door or online here. All net event proceeds go directly to helping to keep the ECRC's programs available for every family and teacher wishing to access the center’s resources.

A ministry of the Sisters of Charity Health System, the ECRC promotes the healthy development of children by improving the quality of early education and care through comprehensive programming, resources and support services for families and early childhood professionals.
