Mercy Medical Center’s Service League to hold celebrity bartending fundraising party

Mercy Service League will hold its annual fundraising Celebrity Bartending Night on Monday, August 15, to benefit the Mercy Medical Center Facility Transformation project. The event is being held at Ninety One Wood Fired Oven in Jackson Township, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mercy physicians and leaders will serve as bartenders for the cause. The event will include a variety of cuisine and “celebrity” signature drinks available for purchase, a live radio broadcast by News-Talk 1480 WHBC’s Kenny Roda and the opportunity to purchase tickets for the $10,000 cash raffle; the winner of which will be announced at the Mercy Service League Harvest Ball 2016.

All proceeds (including celebrity bartender tips, a portion of food and drink sales and cash raffle ticket sales) will go toward the facility transformation project. Dinner reservations for Celebrity Bartending Night are encouraged and can be made by calling Ninety One Wood Fired Oven at 330.497.9111.

The capstone event of Mercy Service League’s fundraising is the Harvest Ball, which will be held Saturday, October 15th, inside the Canton Memorial Civic Center Arena. This popular dinner and dancing event promises to be a relaxing evening of fun and fellowship, with the Canton Memorial Civic Center transformed into an enchanting setting. The winner of the $10,000 Harvest Raffle prize will be announced that evening. All proceeds of the Harvest Ball will also benefit the Mercy Facility Transformation project.
