Early Childhood Resource Center releases Spring-Summer 2016 Training Calendar

The Early Childhood Resource Center (ECRC) has released its Spring-Summer 2016 Training Calendar, which details all the upcoming programs the ECRC has planned for the next three months. Activities include family programs and professional development opportunities for educators and care providers.

“We tend to think of learning as something that happens during the school year only. But the fact is that kids don’t thrive unless they’re always learning. Summer is unusually full of sensory experiences: water and sand, freshly cut grass, garden tomatoes, burgers and dogs on the grill,” said Scott Hasselman, ECRC executive director. “A season’s worth of hands-on learning experiences await at the ECRC as well. Summer is a great time for growing, bonding and learning about the world.”

A ministry of the Sisters of Charity Health System, the Early Childhood Resource Center works to promote the healthy development of young children by: strengthening families, improving the quality of early learning experiences, increasing school and community readiness, and informing public policy.
