Mercy Medical Center’s Mercy Service League holding Souper Bowl fundraising event

Mercy Medical Center’s Mercy Service League will host a “Souper Bowl” soup tasting fundraising event Sunday, January 31, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Meyer’s Lake Ballroom, 3218 Parkway St. NW, Canton, Ohio. Tickets are $25 per person and include unlimited soup tastings, dessert, cash bar, cork pull and many silent auction items.

Attendees will enjoy a wide variety of soup samplings from a number of local establishments, including AA Executive Catering, Basil Asian Bistro, Brookside Country Club, Deli Ohio, The Desert Inn, Fishers, Catering Company, Gabe's Meat and Deli, Kozmo’s Grille, Main Street Grille, Metz Culinary Management, Tim's Tavern and Willow Bistro. Desserts will be prepared by the culinary art students from Canton South and Jackson High Schools.

Tickets can be purchased at the door, or, in advance, by calling Mercy Development Foundation at 330.430.2750, or online, by visiting cantonmercy.org/souperbowl2016. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite football jersey to the fundraising event.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Mercy Facility Transformation Phase I: 5th floor Orthopedic/Observation Unit.
