Bestselling author to speak about mental health issues at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center

St. Vincent Charity Medical Center is hosting New York Times bestselling author Regina Brett Tuesday, May 12 at 2 p.m. at an event open to the community to raise awareness of the warning signs and challenges of dealing with mental health issues. Brett will talk about her new book, God is Always Hiring, and about finding mission in life.

The event coincides with National Mental Health Awareness Month and will raise funds to support St. Vincent Charity’s nationally-recognized psychiatric emergency room. The first 150 ticket purchasers will receive a free copy of God Is Always Hiring.

Tickets cost $15 and can be purchased online at stv150.org. The event is part of St. Vincent Charity’s 150th anniversary celebration.
