Mercy Medical Center’s Mercy Service League holding Souper Bowl fundraising event

Mercy Medical Center’s Mercy Service League will host a “Souper Bowl” soup tasting fundraising event Sunday, January 25, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Meyer’s Lake Ballroom, 3218 Parkway St. NW, Canton, Ohio. Tickets are $25 per person and include unlimited soup tastings, pepperoni rolls, dessert, cash bar and many silent auction items.

Attendees will enjoy soup samplings from a variety of local establishments, including Brookside Country Club, Fishers Catering Company, Grinder’s Above & Beyond, Kozmo’s Grille, Metz Culinary Management, Tapas 218, Main Street Grille and more. Pepperoni rolls will be provided by Bella Sera Pizzeria & Ristorante and desserts will be prepared by the culinary art students at Canton South High School, Jackson High School and R. G. Drage Career Technical Center.

All proceeds from the event benefit Mercy Service League’s 2014-2015 philanthropic commitment to Mercy Medical Center.
