Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina leadership programs open for application

The Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina is accepting applications for its Nonprofit Leadership Training Certificate Program and the Nonprofit Leadership Development Program, which both begin in August. Both courses are part of the foundation’s Carolina Academy, which also offers free workshops to nonprofit organizations.

Nonprofit Leadership Training Certificate Program
The certificate program is designed for nonprofit leaders recognized as having high potential and who are ready to take their leadership to a new level. The certificate program runs for three consecutive semesters from August 2014 through August 2015. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate in nonprofit leadership. The deadline to apply is June 27, 2014.

Nonprofit Leadership Development Program
The free Nonprofit Leadership Development Program (NLDP) is designed to enhance personal and professional growth among nonprofit leaders across South Carolina. NLDP coursework has been updated to offer a new approach to examining a variety of classic management issues. Participants will explore traditional leadership themes through the lens of acclaimed films that capture the universal human experiences that nonprofit leaders often encounter. The program meets one Thursday a month from August through December 2014. The deadline to apply is July 1, 2014.
