Rosary Hall medical director honored by Geauga County Board of Mental Health

The Geauga County Board of Mental Health and Recovery Services recognized Dr. Chris Adelman, medical director of Rosary Hall at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center, at its March meeting for 10 years of volunteer service as a board member.

During his tenure on the board, Dr. Adelman served on the agency relations committee and was instrumental in monitoring and evaluating recovery programs in Geauga County. He is also a senior clinical instructor in the Department of Family Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. His specialty is in the field of addiction medicine.

Jim Adams, director of the Geauga County Board of Mental Health and Recovery Services, said he was honored to have Dr. Adelman as a board member. Fellow board member Dr. Daniel Schweid said that Adelman has bridged the gap between psychiatry and addiction services for Geauga residents.

Dr. Adelman has been the medical director of Rosary Hall Alcohol and Drug Addiction Program at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center since 1987.
