The Plain Dealer provides look at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center patient’s knee surgery and recovery

St. Vincent Charity Medical Center is working with The Plain Dealer and Cleveland.com on an ongoing story about knee replacement surgery. The newspaper and website published an introductory story about knee replacement patient John Favalaro and his decision to have knee replacement surgery after living with severe knee pain. There is also a brief video with Favalaro discussing his decision.

On November 19, he will have a total knee replacement at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center. Cleveland.com will take readers inside the operating room live via online video and via Twitter, where readers can add their thoughts, comments and questions to the website’s live Tweets.

The Plain Dealer and Cleveland.com will also be chronicling Favalaro’s rehab following the November 19 surgery.
