In celebration of April being Minority Health Month, St. Vincent Charity Medical Center is hosting a free community wellness fair Saturday, April 13 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Tri-C Metro campus gym in Cleveland. Funded by the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland, the wellness fair offers families of the Central neighborhood and the surrounding area with a fun and educational event that encourages healthy eating and active living.
Physicians and caregivers from the Center for Bariatric Surgery, Podiatry, Sports Medicine, Pharmacy and the Health Literacy Institute will be on site to help educate the community. St. Vincent Charity Medical Center has also partnered with a number of area organizations that will be at the wellness fair.
The fair will include a mix of activities for adults and children. Attendees will be able to play interactive games, taste healthy foods, take home giveaways and win prizes. Plus, members of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Scream Team will be performing. St. Vincent Charity Medical Center is a ministry of the Sisters of Charity Health System.
