Two Sisters of Charity Health System hospitals recognized by U.S. News and World Report

Today, U.S. News and World Report released its annual “Best Hospitals” rankings, which feature data on nearly 5,000 hospitals across the country. Now in their 23rd year, the ranking span 16 medical specialties, from cancer to urology, and identify top hospitals in several hundred regions, including all major metropolitan areas.

Through this process, U.S. News and World Report recognized two Sisters of Charity Health System hospitals: Mercy Medical Center in Canton, Ohio, and St. John Medical Center in Westlake, Ohio.

Recognitions for Mercy Medical Center:

  • Ranked #18 in Ohio
  • Recognized in Glaciated Plateau Region
  • High-Performing in: Cardiology & Heart Surgery; Ear, Nose & Throat; Gastroenterology; Geriatrics; Gynecology; Nephrology; Pulmonology; Urology

Recognitions for St. John Medical Center:

  • Ranked #25 in Ohio
  • Recognized in Glaciated Plateau Region
  • Ranked #7 in Cleveland metro area
  • High-Performing in: Gastroenterology; Geriatrics; Neurology & Neurosurgery; Pulmonology; Urology
