Decade of Dads: Ten Years of Serving South Carolina Fathers and Families

What do families and football have in common?

In just three short months the south's love of football will kick into action when footballs are teed up on the gridirons of high school and college campuses for the opening games across our state. Our devotion to football, however, is only surpassed by our love of families.

Come kick-off football season with the South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families, as we celebrate our 10 year anniversary of serving fathers and families on Thursday, August 2 at noon at The Zone at Williams Brice Stadium. Tables of eight are $400 and individual tickets are just $50. Reserve your table or seat now!

This event, which is the climax of our six month Decade of Dads celebration, will underscore the importance of responsible fatherhood and celebrate the achievements of the Center and local fatherhood programs in working with thousands of fathers across to the state to rebuild their lives and their families. The guest speaker for the event is Coach Sam Wyche.  Best known as Head Coach of the Cincinnati Bengals which he led to Super Bowl XXII and instigator of the No Huddle offense as a standard offense, Coach Wyche is an inspirational and motivational speaker because of his experiences on and off the field.  Coach Frank Martin, USC's Men's Basketball Head Coach, will also be our special guest.  Coach Martin in addition to sharing his passion about basketball has also openly shared his father's impact on his life and how it fueled his dedication to being role model and shaping the character of young men's lives.
