Sisters of Charity Health System opposes proposed House GOP ACA repeal bill and Medicaid cuts

The Sisters of Charity Health System is strongly opposed to the House GOP’s Affordable Care Act (ACA) “Repeal and Replace” legislation that asks the low-income and most vulnerable in our country to bear the brunt of the cuts to our health care system. In addition to moving away from an effective coverage expansion that has provided health care to more than 20 million working people, this proposal would also take many backward steps in the continual effort to improve our health care system. Report highlights results, learnings and next steps for 100-Day Challenge to end youth homelessness

A Way Home America recently released a brief report highlighting the results, learnings and next steps from the 100-Day Challenge to prevent and end youth homelessness in three communities. The Cleveland team successfully met the challenge by housing 105 homeless young adults and a total of 428 young adults moved in to housing in Austin, Cleveland and Los Angeles. [More]
