Sisters of Charity Foundation Awards $248,000 in Grants

(COLUMBIA, S.C., DECEMBER 23, 2009) - The Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina has awarded 16 Caritas grants and seven Discretionary grants, totaling $248,000, to nonprofit and faith-based organizations across South Carolina. Sisters of Charity Health System ministries to receive $1.6 million in federal appropriations

The Sisters of Charity Health System today announces that it is to receive $1,575,000 in federal appropriations funding for many of its ministries’ programmatic and equipment needs.
