St. Vincent Charity Medical Center, Providence Hospitals and St. John Medical Center score high in patient safety

Three Sisters of Charity Health System hospitals achieved high marks in the latest Hospital Safety Score update from The Leapfrog Group. The Hospital Safety Score assigns A, B, C, D and F grades to more than 2,500 hospitals in the United States based on preventable medical errors, injuries, accidents and infections. Within the Sisters of Charity Health System, St. John Medical Center received an “A,” St. Vincent Charity Medical Center received a "B" and Providence Hospitals received “B” in the fall 2013 update from Leapfrog.
