Mercy Medical Center lab achieves reaccreditation from College of American Pathologists

The College of American Pathologists (CAP) recently awarded Mercy Medical Center Pathology and Laboratory Medicine its Cycle 2 CAP 15189 designation, a reaccreditation based on the quality standards outlined by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). 2015 Harvest Ball to benefit Mercy Medical Center facility transformation

Mercy Service League will hold its 2015 Harvest Ball October 24 in the Canton Memorial Civic Center Auditorium with proceeds benefiting the first phase of the Mercy Medical Center facility transformation. The transformation project will provide more private rooms throughout the hospital, as well as renovate part of the hospital’s fifth floor into a state-of-the art orthopedic and observation unit. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently introduced star ratings on Hospital Compare, the agency’s public information website, to make it easier for consumers to choose a hospital and understand the quality of care they deliver.
