Mercy Medical Center’s Mercy Hospice to benefit from “An Evening with Jim Tressel” January 24

The community is invited to “An Evening with Jim Tressel” January 24 from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Lake High School, 1025 Lake Center St., Uniontown, Ohio, to benefit Mercy Hospice. Tressel is the former head football coach at The Ohio State University and currently serves as the vice president of strategic engagement at the University of Akron. He will be holding a meet and greet with dessert from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Lake High School cafeteria. A talk and discussion with Tressel will follow from 7:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in the high school’s performing arts hall. Tickets for the event are $15. Mercy Hospice is dedicated to helping patients with a life-limiting illness achieve the best quality of life possible while offering respite and comfort to their caregivers and loved ones.
