Cleveland Central Promise Neighborhood ambassador receives Most Treasured Volunteer Award

Promise Ambassador and founder of Men & Women of Central Jerome Baker was recently honored as a Most Treasured Volunteer by The Center for Community Solutions. Promise Ambassador Lillie Hunter received a commendation from the center. New Cleveland Central Promise director to help lead, grow the initiative

The Cleveland Central Promise Neighborhood, a local initiative focused on improving schools and educational opportunities for children from cradle to college to career, will be headed by Cleveland native Sonya Pryor-Jones. A graduate from Cleveland schools, Pryor-Jones officially started as director on June 18, and, with the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland, will help grow the Promise Neighborhood initiative.
