We also produce Mission Forum a publication entirely focused on the crisis of the uninsured and the obstacles that hinder every American from accessing quality health care services. WHAT CAN YOU DO
Specifically, you can support the Sisters of Charity Health System’s mission – and our patients, clients, grantees, employees and caregivers -- by educating and persuading elected officials and other policymakers about issues affecting people in need and strategies to improve access to care. - Write a letter-to-the-editor or an opinion editorial for the newspaper;
- Call, write or e-mail your local, state and federal elected officials on legislation affecting our communities;
- Invite a friend and attend forums or meetings on issues;
- Hold study groups, interfaith prayer activities and pray for those in need.
- Spread the word that advocacy matters.
